What is Mindbody Physical Therapy?

Mindbody Physical Therapy addresses symptoms at the level of the nervous system, where the mind and body meet. Through biofeedback and interoception, I help you learn the language of your body and how to work with your body to facilitate healing. My practice of Mindbody Physical Therapy incorporates aspects of Somatic Experiencing, Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, and Pain Reprocessing Therapy to support you in accessing new levels of nervous system regulation.

Mindbody Physical Therapy is well-suited for the treatment of chronic pain, migraine, fibromyalgia, IBS, anxiety, depression, dizziness, fatigue, and more. While the word ‘mind’ is in the title, this doesn’t mean that we are doing talk therapy. Rather, we are working at the level of the body to influence the mind. While you are welcome to share anything you’d like in our sessions, I don’t need to know the details of your past experiences in order to do this work.
